1979 Mercedes Benz 240D Here is a nice 79 Diesel 240D Mercedes. Check out my store for more great Unique and Classic Cars. Make sure and check out the Video below. This is a good running car. It drives down the road nice. These diesels are built to run forever. The car reads 151K which is just getting broke in on one of these cars but the odometer doesn't turn in this car so I don't know the exact miles of the car but I don't believe the car has many more then what it is showing. I have driven this car around and it is a very nice drving car. It shifts good and the clutch is strong. The ignition doesn't shut the car off so you have to hit the kill switch under the hood to shut the car off. Under the hood and undercarriage on this car are super clean and dry. The exterior of this car is in good shape. It has a brand new grill on it which looks great. The paint is in good condition. It still has a nice shine to it. All of the chrome on the bumpers and the trim is in great shape and just shines in the sun. The passenger front marker lense is missing but all the rest of the lenses are in good condtion. All the lights work. Has the factory hubcaps that have the color matching centers. The tires are nice and have about 70% tread left. The interior is in pretty good shape on this car. The seats look great. The front seats show minimal wear and that back seats barely look sat in at all. The carpets do show some wear but overall are in good condition. The dash does have some cracks in it. This car does have power windows and factory A/C. These are just great cars that are basically indestructable and when they do break are easy to find parts for and fix. These cars are built to run forever.
