1988 Ford Mustang LX Here is a very nice 1 Owner 126K 88 Mustang LX with the Convertible Top and 5.0L Engine. Check out my store for more great Unique and Classic Cars. Look at the Autocheck Score. Out of an average of 13-37 it Scored a 50 Make sure and check out the Video below. This car runs good engine wise but the transmission is bad. The 5.0L engine fires right up and runs strong. It is driveable but the tranni slips so you don't wanna go to fast or the car will overheat. This car is clean inside and out and the 1 Owner took very good care of the car. These transmissions were not the greatest and they are a problem in these cars but easy to come by. The engine is as clean as can be and the under carriage is dry and looks great. The exterior of this car is in good shape but not perfect. There are some scratches and chips in the paint. The dark red paint is actually in really good condition and isn't all sun faded like you see a lot of on these cars. The black convertible top is in as good of shape as your gonna find. There is not a rip or tear in it and it's still black and not all sun faded. Has the spoiler on the back with luggage racks. The trim all looks good except for a couple of scrapes in a couple of spots. Power Windows Work Power Locks Work Power Mirrors Work Factory Radio Works The interior is in really good condition it is just sun faded a little bit mainly on the seats. This car is just a rare beauty that you won't find another one of. They didn't make many in this color along with the matching interior. That's why this was one of my personal cars that I just loved and hate to see it leave.
